Communicable diseases are those illnesses that are "catchy," meaning that you can get sick from being around someone else. While vaccines have virtually eliminated many of the serious communicable diseases from our communities, some
not-so-serious diseases are still around and are even expected in the school-aged child. Here are the latest stats. by grade.
Note: Because some students attend up to 4 different groups during the day (i.e., Bears Den AM, Kinder. and Extended Day than to Bear's Den PM), these statistics as presented are overstated.
